Nicole Gardner, M.S.

Senior Research Associate

Nicole Gardner serves San Diego Zoo Global as a Senior Research Associate in Recovery Ecology. She is involved in multiple aspects of the mountain yellow-legged frog breeding and reintroduction program.

Nicole earned bachelor’s degrees in Animal Physiology & Neuroscience and Psychology at the University of California, San Diego, and a master's degree in Biology from the University of Nebraska, Kearney. Through previous positions at Project Wildlife and the University of California San Diego Diagnostic Services Laboratory, Nicole developed experience with a wide-variety of local San Diego wildlife species and research animal models.
